Nicole is a Cosmetic Registered Nurse and the owner of SKINmas .
However before nursing Nicole was a police officer in Victoria for almost 14 years. Nicole's final position upon resignation was a Sergeant in the city. Although Nicole loved the fast paced action & diversity of policing, Nicole wasn’t settled. Nicole had always been passionate about skin & cosmetic procedures. She dreamed of being a cosmetic nurse but was somewhat ‘stuck’ in her policing role.
In 2015 Nicole fell pregnant and her husband changed careers, taking a job that required them to move to Brisbane. It was at this time Nicole decided to seize the moment & fulfill her dream of being a Cosmetic Injector.
Nicole began studying nursing straight away, & took extended leave from the police force to have a second baby. Nicole completed her degree & confidently handed in her resignation as a police officer. She began working as a recovery nurse in a private day hospital. She then commenced training in cosmetic injectables in 2017, and opened SKINmas in January 2018.
Nicole has taken on every training opportunity that arose and also injected for several months at a busy clinic in Brisbane. Nicole continued to train, learn and enhance her skill set and has completed advanced workshops and masterclasses with some world renowned plastic surgeons and aesthetic injectors, including Dr Mauricio De Maio, Dr Tapan Patel, Dr Arthur Swift, Dr Lee Walker, Dr Waldemar Wajdwicz, Dr Herve Raspaldo,Dr Lee Walker, and Julie Horne.
Nicole is also a trainer with Avaderm (PDO Biothreads Australia) and frequently train other nurses and doctors in PDO threads.
Nicole now specialises in advanced injectables and non-surgical facelifts.
Nicole never imagined that she would love my job as much as she dose. Nicole gets so much fulfillment and reward from using my art to make people happier within themselves.
